Threads of Change strives to serve all underprivileged youth residing in King County who have been referred for services.

Referrals are accepted from:

  • Case managers from community based organizations serving youth and families (10 referrals allowed by each organization (includes all locations for each organization) per quarter.

  • School staff (10 referrals allowed by each school per quarter)

  • Community In Schools site coordinators (10 referrals allowed for all locations per quarter)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - ALL CONDITIONS MUST BE MET

  • Youth must be between the ages of 12- 18

  • Reside in King County

  • Deemed underprivileged by referring party

  • Cannot be in foster care

Parents/caregivers wanting to access services may contact their child’s school, community-based organization, or Community In School’s site coordinator serving their child to request a referral.

Please complete the form below.  One of our staff will contact the referring party within 48 hours. The turn around time for requests is typically 2-4 weeks. This may change depending on the availability of the items requested in our inventory.
